Jennifer Hersak
B. Ed

Jennifer has spent the last 6 years teaching primary education. Prior to that she was a substitute teacher in the Christ Redeemer School Division and stayed home to raise her 2 children. She moved to Alberta in 2006 from Manitoba where she taught various grades and took her certification in Reading Recovery.

Jenifer was raised in a small farming community in rural Manitoba. Her passion for helping others and drive for learning came as young as in Grade 4 when she realized she wanted to be a teacher! Jennifer’s small town upbringing taught her the importance of fostering strong community and family bonds as well as a strong work ethic.

Jennifer’s high energy and magnetic personality along with her dedication to children and patience make her a perfect fit to the primary area. Jennifer has a daughter, aged 11 and a son, aged 8 who both attend a French Immersion school. They live in Okotoks and love the country community feeling.
