What a fantastic day for the Terry Fox run on Friday. It was a little hazy but that made the temperature more bearable for the six laps around the school. Many of the boys put in a fantastic effort and ran most, if not all, of the route. A well deserved cold treat finished off the day!
North Point raised $2,800.00 for cancer research. At this point, that puts our school in the top 10 fundraising schools in Alberta.
Let’s keep it going and make a difference in the lives of so many Canadians affected by cancer. Donate at: http://www.terryfox.ca/NorthPointSchoolforBoys. It’s not too late for students to set up their own fundraising page. They can go to the link above, click “Set up a Student Page” and follow the prompts to get going.
