Oct. 31, 2019

Today our Town Hall was a buzz of energy as the boys were eager to show off their costumes and get on with the afternoon Halloween Howl activities. Before that happened though, the grades 1-3 showed off what they had learned about anatomy with the Skeleton Dance song, Mr. Q handed out Floor Hockey intramural awards, we heard some Shout Outs of students who have been working extra hard and displaying our 5R Character traits and Mr. Fagan gave us an update on our Navigator Squad points.

In the afternoon, the boys enjoyed a Haunted House, eating weird things Fear Factor style, various games and snacks!

ATHLETICS & SQUADS

Navigators Squads

**As of October 31**
The Mariners are off to a commanding lead but it’s actually the Aviators that are the most improved.

Five R Character

Over the past month, we have been on the lookout for North Point Navigators who have exemplified one of our 5Rs – Respectful, Resourceful, Resilient, Relentless and Responsible. If they are observed in the act of displaying one of these character traits, they have been given an R, turned it in for Squad points and their names where put into a draw for 2 FREE FLAMES TICKETS, generously donated anonymously. The following boys received an R this month: Owen P, Brendan A, Daniel M., Angus W., Nolan M., Caden K.H., Alex H., Dominic K., Mason P., Will P., and Brendan L. Way to go boys – you are great examples of the character we want our Navigators to showcase! The winner of the draw was Nolan M. Congratulations and we hope you enjoy the game!

Navigator Athletics

Volleyball – Grades 6-9

There are only a few more games left. The boys are trying hard and improving every time they play. The grades 6-7s have their last two games tonight. The grades 8/9s are playing tonight as well. Good luck boys! GO NAVIGATORS!

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and Coach Qureshi.
