DRAMATIC ARTS SHOWCASE – Wed. JUNE 5

The Year-end DRAMATIC SHOWCASE for Grades 1-6 is this week on WEDNESDAY JUNE 5 at StoryBook Theatre starting at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled. You can view details HERE. Parents are welcome to take their child home directly from the theatre after the performance.


Friday June 14, 2019 – Annual Softball Tournament and FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

#northpointdads – We invite all fathers (or step/grand-dads!) to join us for an afternoon of fun with your son on the diamonds. Play some softball, share a few laughs and some (root) beers and more. WATER SERVICES Construction Near North Point School

The City of Calgary will be installing a new sanitary main on 24th Street SW (just south of the school) starting on June 10 for approximately one week. There will be restricted parking on 24th Street SW. See details HERE.

~~~ Track & Field Recap

This is the first year that our entire Gr. 7-9 student body attended the CISAA Track & Field competition. For many of our students this was the first time they ever tried many of these events. We were commended by other coaches for being out there cheering on teammates as they competed with all their heart and soul. Congratulations to all athletes in Grades 7-9 for continuing to be resilient and relentless during their practices and during the meet.

Evan D. and Rowan A. both qualified for the CISAA Jr. High Championship Meet held on May 30, 2019.

Each month, Ms. Quinn keeps a tally on the good deeds and sportsman conduct during Physical Education classes. We will be back next weekend with the May results !

19th Annual FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival May 30 - June 9, 2019

This local non-profit organization is delivering the “Comedy Workshop” for North Point School Grade 7-9 students and is offering 25% or $5 off tickets to the 19th Annual FunnyFest Calgary Comedy Festival Society, May 30 June 9, 2019
