SPIRIT WEEK! We had great participation in all grades and it was awesome to see the boys and their teachers get involved. Crazy Hair day and Classroom Theme days were big hits! For the classroom theme day, a couple classes did Beach/Hawaiian Day and we also had PJ Day, Animal Safari, Shirt & Tie Day, King for a Day, Gangsters and Twin Day. All the classes were super creative but in the end, the class that won free Slurpees after Spring Break was Miss. Works’ class with the Animal Safari theme.

THE THIRD ANNUAL OUTDOOR ED. TRIP

It is our pleasure to be able to offer 20 of our grade 8-10 students the opportunity to travel to the GULF ISLANDS in beautiful British Columbia for 9 days in May 2021. This trip is to replace the Utah trip planned last year before Covid-19 cancelled the trip. The nature of this adventurous based trip is to play in amazing landscapes, build teamwork, practical implementation of previous learned skills and to have fun! Canadian Flora, Fauna and Geography of the only temperate rainforest in the world will be at the forefront of all daily lessons. Many of the activities planned fit nicely into our CTS courses for grade 10 credits. Parent meeting will be set up April 14 @ 7 pm.

Mother’s Day Surprise

Mother/Son photo due April 16

We are preparing a surprise for our mothers and for this we would like every boy to submit a recent picture of themselves with their mom. Pictures can be sent to Miss Jenn at jhersak@northpoint.school any time before April 16. If you don’t already have one, use the time over Spring Break to take one!

Portfolio Leaderboard

The new Portfolio Leaderboard ranks North Point teams against other middle schools and high schools in our region. It is updated weekly on our Stock Market Game Resource Page. Take a virtual tour of all the Stock Market Game has to offer in lesson plans, functionality and impact on our students.
