The Financial Academy is partnering with the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the U of C Haskayne School of Business to recruit students for their Entrepreneurial Thinking in Action Summer Camps. These virtual camps are 2 hours per day for 1 week (5 days) with a minimum of two teachers in each course. Registration is free for North Point students entering grades 9-12. NP family members, friends and alumni are also invited at no charge.
The Entrepreneurial Thinking in Action camps draw on leading edge practices in curriculum development to deliver a transformational learning experience. Over the five days, students will work in teams to develop their entrepreneurial thinking skills under the mentorship and guidance of University of Calgary instructors, students and alumni. These experiential camps will teach our future leaders how to identify opportunities for innovation, understand customer value, develop a new venture or social enterprise business concept and pitch ideas to a panel of entrepreneurial leaders from our business community.
There are two levels of camps: Level 1: Introduction to Entrepreneurial Thinking in Action and Level 2: Building Entrepreneurial Thinking in Action. Level 1 camps run July 5-9, July 12-16, July 19-23, and July 26-30. Level 2 camps are August 9-13, and August 16-20. Complete details can be found here or on the HCEI Summer Camps 2021 website.
