North Point had a blast at the Be Brave Hitmen game. All of the students represented North Point very well, and they even managed to get on the JumboTron a few times! Special thanks to Mrs. Kuhn, Mr. Hoy and all the other parents for keeping an eye out on the kids, these opportunities to connect outside of school and meet families are so special for North Point!

Planning for Next Year

Re-enrollment Packages Coming Soon

We will be sending out our re-enrollment packages at the beginning of March. We anticipate our retention rate will continue to be very strong. If you have any questions about next year at all, please reach out to Mr. Devost at bdevost@northpoint.school.

Currie Campus Sneak Peak

During our upcoming Checkpoint meetings on the evening of March 2nd and during the day on March 3rd , we welcome our current North Point families to stop by our Currie Campus and check it out.  Our Grade 8-9 boys along with our High School and Girls School will be located at Currie next fall.  Regardless of your grade next year, we would love to have you pop in and see Currie!

Thank you for your support through the Master Chocolat Chocolate Bars sales as well as the subscriptions to the Dunvegan Gardens Farmer’s Market boxes! Both fundraisers are ongoing. If you’d like a few more chocolate bars, just let the front office know. To receive a Farmer’s Market Box, sign up on Dunvegan’s website. (don’t forget to indicate the correct Navigator team!)

Physical Education

Richmond Campus

In Physical Education class our month of “Winter Olympics” themed games and activities have concluded, and we are eager to take on new activities such as chaos, kickball, and belly baseball.

Currie Campus

The High School boys are starting a unit on Badminton. The use of the large gym at Mount Royal is definitely great to have!

North Point basketball had three teams in action on one day with the Gr. 6 boys and JV boys playing at Clear Water Academy and the Gr. 8 boys playing at Rundle Academy on Tuesday of this week.  This frenzy of action leads into the Jr High Playoffs which start today (Thursday, February 24th) with Gr. 7 boys round robin action. The Gr. 8 boys will start their playoffs next Tuesday (March 1st).

North Point Curling entered league play this week with two North Point teams entered in the Calgary High School Championship. They will play three round robin games before teams enter into a playdown for the banner and city title!

Legends Basketball Academy and Intramurals

After school basketball academy continues until March break with sessions on Mondays (ages 7-10) and Wednesdays (ages 10-14). We will augment this program with intramural basketball at noon recess for Gr. 5/6 on Wednesdays and open gym basketball for K-4 on Fridays.

The participants in the Legends program will also be invited to a mini tournament and skills weekend after Spring Break so stay tuned for further details.
