Farewell

We would like to wish Andy Kilpatrick and his family all the best as they start a new adventure in New Orleans. Andy had been a much appreciated member of our school family and he will be missed by his classmates and teachers. Shiela, thank you for all your countless hours of volunteering and your involvement with the Friends of North Point Society. Bon Voyage from all of us at North Point!

Christmas Treats

We are looking for volunteers to bring in Christmas treats for the Christmas party on December 18th. Please let Kim or Maureen know what you are able to bring.

Challenge Winners

Yet another challenge was held this week in Root2STEM Engineering Academy. The boys built mouse trap cars. Once again, the boys were awarded Squad Points for their efforts. The Grade 6/7 group was awarded extra points for beating the 8/9 group in distance – an astounding 7.5 metres. Good work boys!

To enhance their unit on Investing in Stocks, Bonds & Funds, the boys in Grades 6-9 started playing the Stock Market Game this week. To find out more, take a look at this PDF. The game runs until February 7, 2020.
