On Friday the majority of our student body was involved in giving back to the community in some way. The Gr. K-5 walked around our neighbourhood for our annual Candy Cane Walk; the Gr. 7 & 8s went to the Magic of Christmas to sort donations in the warehouse and pack large red sacks for families in need; the High School boys volunteered at the Mustard Seed and spread cheer around the neighbourhood by shovelling sidewalks and delivering candy canes; and on Monday, the Gr. 6s packed up the gifts they have been collecting for the Children’s Cottage to deliver to their warehouse.
