North Point Gives Back

North Point Gives Back

On Friday the majority of our student body was involved in giving back to the community in some way. The Gr. K-5 walked around our neighbourhood for our annual Candy Cane Walk; the Gr. 7 & 8s went to the Magic of Christmas to sort donations in the warehouse and pack large red sacks for families in need; the High School boys volunteered at the Mustard Seed and spread cheer around the neighbourhood by shovelling sidewalks and delivering candy canes; and on Monday, the Gr. 6s packed up the gifts they have been collecting for the Children’s Cottage to deliver to their warehouse. Below is a note received from the Children Cottage.

Hello Jason, Brent & Brandon,

I wanted to say my personal thank you to you, all of your faculty, students and parents for your kind support of our families at the Children’s Cottage.

Happy holidays to all of you and wishing you good health now and for the year to come.

Warm regards,
Shirley Yurchi
