The theme for the 4th Annual Boys in Business Fair, held on June 1, 2019 under sunny Calgary skies, was Jumpstart tomorrow’s entrepreneur$ TODAY! See photos of this great event at the end of this news article.
How amazing to watch our Boys raise the bar on being entrepreneurs at the Boys In Business – Business Fair for 4 years in a row! Our boys did a fantastic job planning and managing their businesses. There were more creative business ideas than ever before. Hundreds of customers came to shop and again this year thousands of dollars in revenue was earned by our young entrepreneurs. Many saw complete sell outs of their product. Every North Point student should be very proud of their work and accomplishments.
We are grateful to have Mr. Groberman, Director of Financial Education at North Point to lead the boys in this amazing learning experience. Thank you BRUCE for all the great ideas and motivation you give the boys.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
The Financial Academy Entrepreneurship Program began in March for all students at North Point School. There were many interesting lessons in our Google Classroom curriculum such as:
- Money making ideas from successful kid entrepreneurs
- How to prepare a business plan
- How to sales pitch as a kid
- EverFi’s online Venture Entrepreneurial Expedition course (older students)
The Program culminated with a visit and informative presentation for all students at the ATB Entrepreneur Centre.
