Thank you for considering North Point School for your child. We are currently accepting applications for students entering Kindergarten to Grade 12. In this section, you will get information on how to apply, fees and financial assistance, and Open Houses.
Application Process
If you would like to attend North Point, the application process is as follows:
Step 1
Inquiry
Parents attend an Open House, a Personal School Tour or speak with a representative at North Point about whether or not North Point might be a good fit for their child. When families visit the school, an interview with the student may be conducted during the personal school tour.
Step 2

Application for Admission packages submitted MUST include the following completed documents and attachments to ensure a thorough review of a student’s file to determine whether or not North Point is the right fit.

North Point School

Attn: ADMISSIONS
If we receive the completed Application for Admission package before we have met with a family, we will arrange a personal interview.
Step 3
Shadow Day
Prospective students are required to attend a Shadow Day before an admission decision is made. This day in the classroom with their peers allows teachers to observe their interactions with their classmates and for students to learn more about North Point. Shadow Days provide both the prospective student and North Point staff the opportunity to determine if North Point is a good fit.
Kindergarten and Grade 1 shadow days are done a little bit differently in that we bring small groups of students in for a morning or afternoon session with one of our teachers, to run through a series of activities to better assess school and program readiness.
Step 4
Decision
Parents are notified about our admission decision usually within one week of their shadow day visit. Upon acceptance, families are required to complete and submit the Student Registration Package and program tuition fees. This package will be emailed to the family.

Financial Assistance Program
North Point School is proud to offer a need-based Financial Assistance Program. We understand that every family’s financial circumstances are different especially when there are multiple school-aged children. We welcome all children who will benefit from our program and will work with every family who needs that extra assistance to make it happen.
How to Apply for Financial Aid
In order to be considered for financial assistance, all families must complete an assistance application form (see below). All completed forms must be submitted to North Point’s Business Manager in confidence. All information submitted is protected under absolute confidentiality.
Your application will be reviewed by our Assistance Assessment Committee within 5-10 business days of submission. This small committee consists of the Head of School, Business Manager and Board Chairperson. Immediately after assessment, the results will be communicated to the families by phone and a follow-up letter. Due to the subject nature, electronic communication will be avoided.
Open Houses
We run several Open Houses during the school year. Parents/families and children can join us for an overview presentation about North Point, school tour, meet the staff and find out how North Point can be a great fit for your child now and for the future.
We have two campuses. Our centrally located Richmond Campus is at 2445 – 23rd Avenue S.W. This facility houses our Grade K-7 Boy School. It was the former home of Rundle College Primary School and can accommodate approximately 130 students and includes a gymnasium and a large outdoor play area. Our Currie Campus is located in one of the historic buildings on the previous Currie Baracks at 2509 Dieppe Avenue S.W. This location houses our Grade 8-9 Boys School, Grade K-9 Girls School and our Co-ed High School.
